Our History
A constant growth, driven by innovation
For over 30 years, we have been supporting hospitals, local health authorities, and both public and private healthcare facilities in the technical and strategic management of biomedical technologies.
First Global Service in Italy
We introduced the Global Service model to the Italian healthcare sector for the first time, paving the way for integrated and innovative management of biomedical technologies.
Tecnologie Sanitarie S.p.A. is founded
Created by a group of Italian entrepreneurs, the company began its journey with a biomedical global service model, offering – for the first time in Italy – a comprehensive service for the management and maintenance of biomedical equipment and medical devices.
Internationalization
Tecnologie Sanitarie S.p.A. launched its international expansion process, gaining expertise in the characteristics and regulations of foreign markets. The company first opened a permanent site in Madrid, followed by a branch in the United Kingdom.
First international contract
The company became a technology partner for the hospitals of Valencia, Alicante, and Orihuela, providing its know-how, advanced methodologies, and extensive expertise in the management and maintenance of biomedical equipment.
Polygon Technical Solutions is born
In the face of the global challenges posed by the 2020–2021 pandemic, we chose to evolve. Polygon – Technical Solutions was established: a new name, a new logo, and a new vision to address the future of healthcare innovation in Italy and worldwide.
H.I.G. Capital becomes a shareholder
Polygon S.p.A. was acquired by the U.S.-based private equity group H.I.G. Capital, a leading global investment firm with $60 billion in equity capital under management.
Polygon acquires Sincronis
Polygon acquired Sincronis, a company specialized in providing integrated maintenance solutions for biomedical equipment to healthcare facilities and manufacturers. This operation strengthens our ability to respond comprehensively, efficiently, and with high expertise to the technological needs of the healthcare sector.
